Jaswant goes to America to get arms for Pak
While Jaswant was having his private chats with the US officials, Americans were getting ready to arm Pakistan. It reminds me of Vajpayee's China visit once upon a time.

Jaswant is also a liar. He has all along lied to the nation as well as to Vajpayee about his achievements in his countless parleys with the US leadership of the past and present. He has misused his knowledge of English language to join the inner coterie of Vajpayee, who is not comfortable with the language. It is he who has nurtured Vajpayee’s megalomania and has sold the interest of this country.MEA has failed again. We hope India does not go to war with Jaswant as our defense minister. We will loose it in spite of our superior strength. Krishna Menon still had some guts; Jaswant has none. Can we compare Jaswant with Shikhandi? No way. Shikhandi was a warrior who faced Bhishm and was instrumental in removing him from the battlefield. Jaswant is not a warrior; he is like those eunuchs who served the Begums of Mogul kings in inner quarters.He is a coward who, I am sure, never truly fought a war for our country amidst the dust and grime of the battlefield.
Jaswant alone is responsible to turn India into a vassal state of the US, promising the country huge diplomatic and economic returns. The fool has been hiding his incompetence behind a suave facade. His brain is incapable of working out the details of a problem and he prefers to deal with trivialities and generalities precisely because of this personality handicap.
His proximity to an almost senile and deranged PM is dangerous. It will compound the problems further. Those who are still sane and capable of clear thinking cannot function while following the warped and preposterous premises set by the likes of Jaswant and Vajpayee. These two are the stumbling blocks. The NDA leaders must call for a comprehensive meeting to do something about the present state of affairs. We don't have time for politicking. Our economy and internal and external security are in a precarious state and a small shove will send us into a dangerous tailspin. The much boasted foreign exchange reserves will be gone in no time.
India needs a dynamic leadership capable of quick and clear-cut thinking, instant action, and quick communication at this juncture. The September 11 attacks on the US may not affect the US as much as they can affect India. It looks as if we have become irrelevant in the region. It also means that we are dispensable and we count for nothing in world affairs.
This scenario is result of our weak and ineffective leadership. We are being looked down upon. SAARC and NAM have become irrelevant. These were the forums that once made all of us feel great about ourselves. We will be most vulnerable to blackmail and mischief now. Our position vis-à-vis China and Pakistan is already weak. It will get weakened vis-à-vis Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan as well.
Why should the countries in this region look to India for leadership and support? They won't. They would prefer to strike a profitable partnership with the US.Ultimately we will be forced to accept the US mediation in all our affairs, including Kashmir, as there will be none in the region who would dare to oppose Americans. Jaswant's personal parleys and Vajpayee’s letters and telephonic conversations with Clinton and Bush have made the US a willing participant in the affairs of this region. In other words we are screwed. Unfortunately, most of the foreign policy analysts in India are divided in different camps and they have a convoluted view of everything. There is none to tell Vajpayee of the folly he has committed.
And Vajpayee does not listen to Khullamkhulla as he finds its language too offensive. We wish Vajpayee listens to his conscience for a change and resigns.
Jaswant tried to be too familiar with the US leadership. This familiarity has become our undoing. The US leadership either takes us for granted or else looks at us with benevolent contempt, the way the Zamindaar's of yore would look at their servants. Jaswant also over relied on secret parleys and niceties, the kind of things corrupt Rajputs of Rajasthan would do in the past to save their decadent lifstyles by licking the feet of Mogul and the British rulers. He was taking a leaf out of the life of Mansingh who bartered his sister and self respect for Akbar's favours.
Resign Jaswant if you have any love left in your heart for our great country!
