Elections 2009 – Khullamkhulla Report 7
Why should sensible Indians not vote for Congress and its allies?

It is a party of liars, cheats, dirty tricksters, and parasites with just one vision – to rule India and milk its resources.  The media is in cahoots with it and corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, judges, industrialists, journalists, fixers, pimps, and call girl racketeers form its critical support base.

It is a party that once licked the ass of the British Monarchy and was instrumental in the delayed departure of firangees from this land. This party also divided our ancient nation, compromised our territorial integrity, and lost large tracts of our land to enemy nations like Pakistan and China. Its economic policies throttled the enterprising spirit of Indian entrepreneurs for decades and prevented us from becoming a great economic power.

And let me explode the big myth. Rajeev Gandhi did not start any IT or Telecom revolution apart from appointing one of his buddies as a technology advisor. The IT and telecom sectors got their real fillip during the NDA regimes.

In the last five years, the UPA has undone the great work done by the NDA to the detriment of India’s holistic growth. The Congress and UPA have not come up with a single original and creative idea to take this nation forward. Of course, the UPA can be credited for coming up with madcap creative methods of extracting taxes and harassing law-abiding citizens. Let us discuss things point by point.

The economy of shortages is back. Free market is dead. Consumer is no more the king.

We even have a shortage of medicines in the market. Cooking gas is not easily available any more. Is it because of the rising demand for products and services? How can it be when the economy is in recession? Obviously, it is an artificial situation, created by a few.  The corrupt UPA regime is directly responsible for it. It reversed the ‘free market’ policy of the NDA and discouraged new players to enter the field. It allowed cartels to be formed that put the consumers in a position of disadvantage.

Price cartels are operating in almost all the sectors of industry

Airlines, pharmaceuticals, cement, steel, construction, FMCG, banking, entertainment, and every other sector of the industry.  Even the stock market is not spared. Stock prices are openly manipulated by a few banks and industrial houses. They are fixing and hiking up  prices using European and American economies as their reference points, and creating artificial shortages. The entire industry is controlled by a handful of industrialists and bankers. They use ‘aam adami’s’ money to fleece the ‘aam aadami’.

Indians are heavily taxed and public money is squandered away in wasteful and sham social schemes. There has been a sharp rise in the incidence of indirect taxes, paid by the poor as well as the rich.

We are a heavily taxed population, either directly or indirectly. And then some of us are offered alms and leftovers during the election time. The much-advertised and tom-tomed as the most important achievement of the UPA. A good example is the ‘loan waiver’ scheme announced on the election eve. Thousands of farmers committed suicide during five years of the UPA rule, mostly in the states administered by the Congress. Nobody talked about waiving their loans then. Come elections, and the alms-giving started. The people of this country don’t even know that it is their own money that is being given to them. Sonia, Manmohan, aur Chidamabaram ke baap ke khazane se nahin aaya hai yeh paisa. Pachaas hazaar carod gareebon ka paisa gareebon ko bheek mein dene ka bhadda natak, aur jo lakhon carod Swiss banks mein gaye unka kya? Aur is bheek ko bhi cooperative banks kha gaye. Kisaan ko kya mila?

The UPA policies opened windows of opportunity for the corrupt and unscrupulous. Corruption is at its peak, it is almost institutionalized, and it affects every institution, including the apex court.

The UPA has given us a rank corrupt political system, bureaucracy, judiciary, and local administration. The manipulative policies of the UPA were designed to benefit a few at the expense of the ‘aam aadami’.  Look at the profile of the Congress leaders at the local as well as the national level. They have amassed so much of wealth by manipulating the system and stashed away their hush money in foreign banks. They create legitimate routes to bring it back from time to time to invest in large properties. Mumbai is a great example. The nexus between builders and politicians is well-known here. Earlier, a politician changed certain government rules stealthily to benefit a few and took his commission. Today, top Congress leaders and ministers have ‘benaami’ stakes in these corrupt enterprises. They do whatever they want. Very few dare to question them. The voice of concerned social activists who protest against this loot very rarely makes any difference. The RTI act, originally proposed by the NDA, and passed by the entire Parliament, is fast losing its meaning. People have been writing applications after application to get basic information for months and yet get nothing out of it. This is another tokenist move by the government.

Indian hush money worth 1500 billion dollars in Swiss banks –why is the Congress unwilling to initiate steps to get it back?

The money has always been there. Now we know the extent of this loot. 1500 BILLION DOLLARS. Incredible. Whose money is it?  Our money, lying in Swiss banks. The demand to get it back made by Advani and Narendra Modi is wholly justified. What is the response of the UPA over the issue? ‘Why didn’t they do it when they were in power five years ago?’ asks Rahul Gandhi, the idiot.  How could they, dumb head?  The Swiss banks took almost two decades before they disclosed the details of the Bofors pay-off, the money taken by your uncle Quotrochi on behalf of your Pa and Ma. It was such a huge task to get information from the Swiss banks in those days. Today, they are willing to disclose the names behind their numbered accounts. This is the right time to get that money back. What is your problem? Why are you trying to kill the issue? You don’t even want to talk about it. Who are you protecting? Of course yourself, and your corrupt minions.

I think the BJP and the NDA should be voted to power on this plank alone. The country should declare in one voice, ‘Here is our vote Advani. Even if you do nothing for the next five years and get back the Indian loot stashed in Swiss banks, your grateful countrymen will keep you in power until you die in the PM’s chair. And if you could get all the corrupt bastards, who took that money away from us, shot and their severed heads hanged at the ramparts of the Red Fort, a grateful nation will install the next generation of the Advani clan in the PM’s chair as well.’

The nuclear deal is a sell-out of our sovereignty to western powers with disastrous long-term consequences

The Vajpayee government had proposed a deal of this nature to end India’s nuclear isolation and to join the nuclear club as a sovereign self-respecting nation, with our heads held high. The Congress Government decided to go for a similar deal. However, the objectives were different.  Sonia was coaxed by her mentors, the Church and the western powers, to direct the UPA government and make India commit to an agreement between unequals. The larger goal of the deal is to control India’s nuclear programme. Manmohan was just a front man, a pawn, in this game. I am sure he has not read the details of the deal till date. He just put his signature on a document that was entirely drafted by the US, and whetted cursorily and approved by some Indian scientists under extreme government and media pressure. They knew their objections would not matter. The media and a section of the intelligentsia were co-opted to create the media hype in support of the deal. The government was in a big hurry. They wanted it to happen before the elections, to tie our hands forever.

The UPA has raised big barriers in the way of new entrepreneurs, and its policies have increased the cost of business manifold

It is tough to start a new business in India. The bureaucratic controls are back with a bang. You cannot get anything done without paying the ‘salaami’ money. The process of simplifying government procedures to create an entrepreneur-friendly environment that was adopted by the NDA, has come to a standstill. New systems have been introduced that go on adding to the costs and hassles of a start-up business. Bizarre taxes have been introduced like the ‘fringe benefit tax’, and ‘transaction tax’. The government looks at the citizens of this country as criminals.

The grand visionary NDA-run scheme of The Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) has come to a halt.

It was the first phase of the National Highways Development Project (NHDP), and consisted of building 5,846 kilometres of four/six lane express highways connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The project has moved at a snail’s pace thanks to the UPA regime’s antipathy.

Now ask a simple question to yourself.

Who will Afzal Guru, Dawood and his goons, bomb blast convicts and accused, criminals like Abu Salem, SIMI activists, the Indian Mujahidins, the Talibanis, the Jihadis, corrupt Bureaucrats, profiteers, ULFA, and a whole lot of other anti-India forces support and vote for in these elections?

Think hard before your answer.  Sadly, there is just one answer.

The Congress party, and others like Mayavati, Mulayam, Lalu, and the Marxists.

And who would they like to be defeated?

Of course, the BJP and its allies.
