When will you have Delhi declared as a disputed territory Mr. Prime Minister?

A look at Indian foreign policy under Vajpayee's leadership over the years

Vajpayee was the foreign minister in the Janata Party Government that came to power after 1977 elections. Vajpayee visited China in an effort to promote himself as the messiah of peace who could bring about reconciliation by cracking jokes and reading poems. While Vajpayee was meeting Chinese officials, the Chinese invaded Cambodia, a member of NAM. Vajpayee was forced to cancel his tour. Soon the Janata Party government was out of power. Since Sangh Parivar had to prop him up for electoral reasons, everyone in the Parivar would talk about how friendly was he with Pakistanis and how passport and visa rules were relaxed during his tenure. This was an attempt to project a pro Muslim image of this personification of mediocrity to broaden the support base of the BJP. This did not work either. Much later, when the BJP came to power, it was thanks to consolidation of Hindu votes in the name of Ram. While the Ramjanmbhoomi movement picked up, Vajpayee remained in hibernation eating Jilebis with milk and drinking his Vodka. That is when he got bloated like a frog.

Year 2003. Vajpayee pays a much hyped second visit to China as the PM. Indian media covers this visit extensively as a major event. The Chinese media makes a passing mention of it. Vajpayee appears for photo ops with the Chinese leadership. He offers them what they need. They offer him what we don't need, opening of the Mansarovar route that was closed due to SARS epidemic. However, the great diplomats who adorn the Ministry of External Affairs, project to the media that a passage through Sikkim to Tibet is some kind of acceptance by the Chinese that Sikkim is part of India. Won't they have to take our permission to cross through Sikkim? The Chinese Embassy in Delhi reads these reports in Indian newspapers and promptly informs its masters about the strange twist being given to the issue. The Chinese call a special press conference and puncture the MEAs hot air balloon even before it could take off. And while Vajpayee visits some Buddhist temples and offers prayers with folded hands, Chinese troops walk into Arunachal Pradesh, claiming it as part of their territory.

Vajpayee goes to Lahore by bus to usher in an era of friendship with Pakistan and the Pakistanis do a Kargil on him. One does not have o repeat this story. We all know it so well.

This is Vajpayee's track record as a successful diplomat. He has failed miserably every time. However, his spoons in the PMO try to project his image of very successful diplomat by blatantly cultivating journalists and planting stories about his personal relationship with world leaders. A leader who cannot even communicate with Hindi speaking friends of Sangh Parivar who he has been working with all his life, how can he communicate with the French and the Germans and the Chinese and the Americans. He himself is a laughing stock and he makes every Indian into one. Khullamkhulla has its main grudge with Vajpayee on this issue alone. He has no right to make us look ridiculous by his foolish deeds. That is what he has been doing.

Indians in general never considered Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh as disputed territories. They were so only in the eyes of the diplomats. Vajpayee visits China, and now we have these two Indian states in the list of disputed territories. First Kashmir, then Sikkim and now Arunachal Pradesh. If things continued in this manner, very soon we will have Delhi declared as a disputed territory too. The Chinese may lay claim to it. One of the Chinese warriors had once spread terror in the city during the Mogul rule.

How much damage acts of omission and commission and submission and stupidation of an individual can inflict to our national interests is well demonstrated by Vajpayee's example. This fool visits foreign lands as a messiah of peace and his initiatives motivate our enemies so much that they don't even wait for him to leave their soil before sending their troops to claim our territory.

Khullamkhulla is certain that Vajpayee is the best hope of the Chinese and the Pakistanis if they want their designs on India to succeed.

This means he may make our worst nightmare come true by his abject stupidity.
