Is M. F. Hussein playing a deliberate mischief in the name of artistic expression?

Here is a mail we received some time back from one Mr. Radhakrishnan. He has taken the trouble to analyse some of the work of this celebrated painter who lives out of India  to avoid being prosecuted under various Indian laws that prohibit any deed that may hurt the religious sentiments of people. In fact, the Supreme Court of India has really shown unusual and unprecedented generosity towards the artiste by bringing all the cases filed against him under its purview, saving him the trouble of running  around various states  where  cases have been filed
against him for violating various provisions of the Indian law.

Here is the abridged text of the mail:

'...If a danish journalist depicts the Prophet of the Muslims, they rise in anger...and put a booty on the head of the cartoonist. They are not criticized for being communal and intolerant. ....If M.F. Hussein draws paintings depicting Hindu gods and goddesses in sexual positions...and Hindus merely protest, why are the termed as communal, and intolerant? ...Ae we being politically correct or pseudo secular? '

Now look at how Hussein's mind works, and judge for yourself if the great painter is as innocent as he professes to be.

Here are the pictures of some of Hussein's paintings. Study them carefully. They tell a startling story.

Goddess Durga in sexual union with a tiger

Prophet's daughter Fatima, fully clothed

Goddess Lakshmi naked on Shri Ganesh's head

Goddess Saraswati in nude

Mother Teresa fully clothed

Naked Goddess Parvati

Hussein's daughter fully clothed

Naked Draupadi

Well clothed Muslim lady

Naked Hanumana and Goddess Sita
sitting on Ravana's thigh

Muslim poets Ghalib and Faiz,
well clothed

Fully clad Muslim king and naked
Hindu
Brahmin

Naked Bharat Mata. He has shown
a naked woman with names of states
painted on her body. He has also used
Ashok Chakra, and tricolour.
This violates the law as well.

Out of four leaders, Gandhi is decapitated
and Hitler is naked. Hussein hates Hitler
as per his interview and depicted hitler
as naked to humiliate him. In defence of
his nude paintings of Hindu Goddesses
Hussein and his cohorts contend that
nudity in art depicts purity and thus an
honour. What is it if not hypocrisy and
mischief mongering?

A. Radhakrishnan's mail comes to me as an eye opener. Are educated Hindus so liberal that they are being taken for granted by those who are anything but liberal and who deliberately heap insults on Hindu icons?
