13th Mumbai Film Fest (MAMI) delegates’ registration is open

The delegate and media registration for the 13th Mumbai Film Festival organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) is open now. The week-long festival will be held between 13-20th October 2011. The registration can be done online by visiting the festival’s official web site http://www.mumbaifilmfest.com. Those who register early, before 5th October 2011, will be entitled to an early bird discount of 25% over the normal fees. The following are the delegate’s categories and the normal catalogue fees applicable to them: -

1. Students - Rs.700                                                        2. Film Industry & Film Societies - Rs.800                   3. General Delegates - Rs.1,200                                  

Media registration can also be done online by visiting the MFF site. The delegates who will register online will receive registration approval receipt by email. All approved delegates can collect their delegate cards from 8th October 2011 onwards between 11 am to 6 pm by paying the fees at the Delegate Registration Centre at the Festival’s main venue CINEMAX (VERSOVA), INFINITI MALL, NEW LINK ROAD, ANDHERI (W), MUMBAI 400 053.

Online registration will close on 5th October 2011, midnight. Afterwards on the spot registration can be done from 8th October onwards at various festival venues at Cinemax Versova, Cinemax Sion, and Metro Big Cinemas between 11 am to 6 pm.

You can also download the registration form and can submit it at the Mumbai Film Festival office till 5th October, 2011, between 11 am to 6 pm at the following address:- Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), 49/50, Maruti Chambers, 3rd Floor, Fun Republic Lane, Off Veera Desai Extn. Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai - 400 053, INDIA.

Delegates must carry their college ID card / film industry card / film society membership cards for verification at the time of catalogue fee payment.

The 13th Mumbai Film Festival has sections like International Competition, Above the Cut, World Cinema, Celebrate Age, Real Reel, Indian Frame, New Faces in Indian Cinema, Dimensions Mumbai, and Retrospectives. The festival will also organize a fim market known as Mumbai Film Mart (MFM) for selling, and buying of films and networking among the film professionals, distributors, exhibitors, acquisition executives, and sales agents. There will be other important academic activities like Master Classes, workshops and Open Forum discussions on the sidelines of the festival. About 5000 delegates are expected to participate.
