
13th Mumbai Film Festival (MFF) adds Venice Golden Lion winner and more to its programme
The official schedule of the screenings of the 13th Mumbai Film Festival, organised by MAMI, is now released. We find new additions to its previously announced programme. Among them is FAUST a film by Russian helmer Aleksander Sokurov that won the prestigious Golden Lion prize at the Venice Film Festival this year. The opening and closing films of the Venice Film Fest have also been added. Martin Scorsese’s more than three hour long documentary on George Harrison is there as well. All new entrants are in the Wold Cinema Section of the 13th MFF except TOMBOY by Céline Sciamma, which forms part of the 4th Rendez-vous with French Cinema (4RDV).
