Khullamkhulla pays homage to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who passed away on 5th February, 2008.
He gave 'Transcendental Meditation (TM)' to the world. He carried forward the legacy of Swami Vivekanand who conducted 'Rajyoga' workshops for his disciples during his two visits to the west. TM became a world-wide spiritual phenomenon. Mahesh Yogi repackaged Patanjali's system of Raj Yoga, and presented it to the humanity as the science and art of stress free living in a world that is becoming increasingly complex, intolerant, and violent. However, like every other great Indian Guru and teacher, he humbly admitted that he was merely unearthing the gems of wisdom hidden in India's Vedic traditions. Mahesh Yogi was followed by Rajneesh (Osho), another teacher par excellence, though a little too voluble, who made great impact on the western world.
