Hi,

This site is getting better and as open khulla can be.I am here after a
while and I feel the review of Ashoka was brilliant and the critics
siding favourites is becoming a problem for readers of film reviews.
They lack authenticity and conviction in their reporting.

Though most of us respect any filmmaker's point of view and vision, in
this case it was rather blurred, especially with a historical like
Ashoka, whose emblem is embossded on our currency and other legal
tender.

I genuinely feel that if our colleague filmmakers continue to make a
mockery of history, unlike our counterparts in the west, there should be
a historical regulatory body parallel to the censor board.

I feel that a distortion and misrepresentation of history is worse for
our adoloscents and illetrate cinemagoers than exhibition of the human
anotomy and positive emotions on screen which our censor board takes
objection to from time to time.

I wish your site invites more opinion and insight on this subject.

Warm Regards,

Gautam Grover
