Terrorists as Damaads (sons-in-law) and Nasty Parrot Joke

What are the priorities of the political establishment, the judiciary, and the media in this country? They go by what is sensational. Terrorsim is the last item on their agenda. Those who die in terrorist violence are nameless and faceless Indians and their lives are inconsequential. Jessica Lal’s murder will be pursued with great vigor since she had a beautiful face and was murdered by a high-profile celeb. Death en-mass is not a big story, whether it is farmers’ suicides or victims of terror. Nobody even tells us the names of the dead.

The Jaipur blast story has already been consigned to obscurity in TV and print news at the time this article is being written. Hardly three days have passed. Whether Shane Warne will be playing in the IPL or not is the headline news now. The dead are forgotten. Gone are the flowery speeches, with violin playing in the background, of the TV anchors,.

The Supreme Court has released the convicts in the Mumbai Bomb Blast case on bail, though it denies bail to Jessica Lal murder convicts. What does it signify? Murder of a model is more serious an offence than a terrorist act that kills hundreds. Even the special court delivers a judgment that treats the perpetrators of the Mumbai Bomb Blasts, the biggest terrorist act in the history of the world pre 9/11, as ordinary criminals giving them mild punishments.

Almost all of them will be out of jail in the next few years, walking free, rubbing shoulders with you and me. Those who got death sentences are out on bail. The Supreme Court was in a big hurry to hear their cases and do the needful. After the convicts get bail, things return to normal. The Court can take another five years to confirm or strike down their conviction. Let the perpetrators of the blast breath free air till then. The guys who almost blew up the city of Bombay and killed three hundred innocent civilians are walking free, amidst us. How do you feel? Horrible? Incensed? Do you feel anything at all? Don’t you feel screwed and ashamed? These guys killed 300 civilians and they are walking free right in front of your eyes you idiots, they are standing next to you in trains and buses.

However, the Gujarat Riot cases are at the top of the priority list of the Court. These are retried, till the accused are convicted by premeditated judgements, based on spurious and invented evidence. Hostile witnesses in these riot cases are punished with long jail terms to set an example. The Supreme Court goes out of its way to appoint its own team of prosecutors and investigators. The Soharabuddin case gets preferential treatment and is supervised by the highest court on a regular basis. You know why? Everyone knows why? Because the convicts are Hindus who have supposedly killed Muslims. How many Muslims have been convicted for knifing Hindus in riots in free India? Not a single one. And don't try to tell me that the Muslim lumpen don't kill during riots. They are the ones who start these riots. They will plant bombs now.

When it comes to a terrorism-related case, the Supreme Court is at its generous best. Justice Balakrishnan, Justice Pasayat, and a whole lot of them, go out of their way to provide relief to the convicts.  Bail par bail de rahein hain jaise yeh terrorist inke damaad hon. Wah kya baat hai? Dhany hai is desh ke neta, nyayadheesh, aur TV ke bacche bacchiyan jinhon ne patrkaarita ka majaak banaya hua hai.

Extradited relatives of Dawood and members of his gang get quick relief from our courts because the police fail to prosecute them effectively. None demands a retrial in these cases and the hostile witnesses go unquestioned. Very soon, Abu Salem will be out on bail too. When he was brought back from Portugal, he looked like an adhmara chooha, a bheegi billi, and a dog with tail between his legs, shit scared that the police will encounter him. He walks and roars like a lion today. The Supreme Court would not allow new cases to be slapped on him, citing the agreement with the Portuguese government as a sacrosanct pledge.

What the hell? Since when have such agreements become so sacrosanct? The British don’t care. The Americans don’t care. Even the Portuguese government would have long forgotten about who the f##k Abu Salem was.  Our Supreme Court remembers. And Abu Salem runs his murderous activities sitting in the cool confines of an Indian jail, getting VIP treatment from the courts and his captors. He is one of the blast accused too, but can at the most be handed out a life term; the Supreme Court will probably release him on bail the next day till he gets a copy of the judgement, the procedure followed by it in Sanjay Dutt’s as well as other cases. Salem may start acting in films, and become official advisor to Mahesh Bhatt. He will rule the film industry yet again, sitting here in India.

Going by these examples, Dawood Ibrahim should surrender too. I am sure his case will be considered most sympathetically. If the UPA government feels that showing leniency to him will get it Muslim votes, it may ask Justice Balakrishnan to do the needful. The Supreme Court will promptly grant the great gangster and the global terrorist No.2 a bail after a special midnight hearing. Ram Jethmalani will be the defense counsel. Dawood will rule the country with his Muslim vote bank, sitting right here amidst us with Z category security around him.

Do you think it is a joke? It is not. It can happen in this land. It is our old tradition, according warm welcome to our enemies and getting orgasmic while being raped.

And what is the response of the political establishment that boasts of espousing the nationalist cause? Total acquiescence and apathy. Why is the BJP not speaking up against the courts for being lenient towards the terrorists? Why? Why is the Supreme Court silent over the atrocities of the Marxist goons in West Bengal? It has to because it knows that the Marxists will not tolerate its intervention in their affairs. The Chief Justice of India and  judges like Arijit Pasayat will be harangued, humiliated, and intimidated if they dared to act against them. So, they are careful and wary of taking on the Marxists. They are also part of the realpolitik of the ruling establishment.

Terrorist attacks will continue and the ISI’s recruitment drive will be a big hit with bloodthirsty Jihaadi miscreants and Muslim lumpen. They will make and plant Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to get a kick out of it, since they know nothing will happen to them. They will not be caught, even if they are caught, they will not be tried successfully and their community will look up to them as heroes. Look at the way the Mumbai Local Blast accused behave in our courts. They openly demand removal of the trial judges, and more facilities in jails and defy the orders of the court using every possible legal loophole. And they get what they want. They also succeed in employing big-time lawyers to defend themselves. Where does the money come from? In the case of the Mumbai Bomb Blast accused, the money was collected during the Friday prayers in mosques, as disclosed by their defence lawyer Adhik Shirodkar.

So, what needs to be done?

There should be public and media pressure on the judiciary to not show leniency towards the terror accused. Every judge should know that any sympathy shown towards these elements would cost him/her his job and reputation and his entire family would  be banished and thoo thooed by society. Let us criticise the judges who are in a hurry to release the terror accused on bail vociferously and, if need be, gherao them and, protest against their actions. They will behave better, and act carefully, the lower courts as well as the Supreme Court. We will have to sensitize the media, the judiciary, and the ruling political establishment to public anger and opinion over the issue of terrorism. Chappal uthana padega public ko, tab hoga sudhaar.

Treat every terrorist act as a crime to undermine our whole nation and slap cases of multiple cold-blooded and cowardly murders on the perpetrators of terrorist act. All Acts in our statute books related to treason should be applied. Everyone, even those remotely associated with such crimes, should be hanged.

Bete ne bum lagaya hai, uske baap, behan, maa, aur poore khnadaan ko phansi pe latkao. Jo saale kehtein hain ki unhe pata nahi tha ki unka ladka kya kar raha tha, unko dus joote lagao aur goli maaro beech chaurahe pe. Bofors ke muhaane pe baandh ke uda od. Jhooth bolten hain woh. Aur jo inke saath sympathy dikhatein hain une nanga karo beech bazaar mein, aur poocho jo bekasoor maare gaye unko kya jawab detein hain woh. Koi daya moh maaya nahin, in ko itni buri maut do ki duniya yaad rakhe, aur inki aane wali saat naslein bhi siharati rahein dar ke maare.

That is how cowardly Hindus were ruled by the Mughals and the British for 1000 years. Fear was the key. And since most of these jihaadi miscreants are converts, they have the same cowardly Hindu and Buddhist blood flowing in their veins.  They can be easily reformed and contained by fear of serious reprisals.

Start military style trial courts. Stop treating terrorist acts as ordinary criminal cases. They are not.

Find out the sources of funding of these elements. Investigate the lawyers who defend these accused. Find out who is paying them. Investigate every entity that supports them, even NGOs and politicians, and those relatives who are following up their cases. Whoever benefits from his/her association with these elements, should be investigated and brought to the book. It is surprising that the relatives of Abu Salem and Dawood Ibrahim are not being investigated seriously. Let them feel cursed for being related to them. You cannot face a brute with civility. None does, not even America. It keeps the terror suspects chained, at Guantanamo bay. They cannot even shit in peace in these detention centres. In India, it is otherwise. Guys like Abu Salem live like uncrowned kings in our prisons.

Compensate the victims of terror properly. They should be given the status of martyrs. Five lakhs is too small a sum offered as compensation. Make it fifty lakhs. Total rehabilitation and first-class upkeep of the family of the victim should be the responsibility of the state. Create a terror victims’ fund.

Shut all our borders with Pakistan. Why should we have friendly relationship with an enemy state just because the UPA regime wants Muslim votes in India? All secular political formations play this game, which is based on the premise that all Indian Muslims are inherently pro-Pakistan. And if it is a reality, God save us. I don’t think it is a reality. However, it will become a reality if we allow the problem to fester by talking endlessly about how Muslims are disadvantaged in India. This will create and reinforce a sense of disaffection for no reason. That is why Khullamkhulla keeps presenting counterpoints to the canards spread by the Islamists and the secularists. Muslims in India are not discriminated against, Hindus are.

And here is a joke apt to the situation sent to me by an old friend:

Reforming a nasty parrot

Alex receives a parrot for his birthday. This parrot is fully grown but with a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every other word it blurts out is an expletive. Those that aren't expletives are, to put it mildly, rude.

Alex tries hard to change the bird's attitude and is constantly saying polite words, playing soft music, anything pleasant that comes to mind. Nothing works.

He loses patience and yells at the bird, the bird gets worse. He shakes up the bird and the bird gets madder and ruder.

Finally, in a moment of desperation, Alex puts the parrot in the freezer. For a few moments he hears the bird squawking, kicking and screaming and then, suddenly, all is quiet.

Alex is frightened that he might have actually hurt the bird and quickly opens the freezer door. The parrot calmly steps out on to Alex's extended arm and says: "I'm sorry that I offended you with my language and actions. I ask for your forgiveness. I will try to check my behaviour and begin imroving this moment."

Alex is astounded at the bird's change in attitude and is about to ask what changed him so quickly, when the parrot says, "May I ask what the chicken did?"
