After Kargil, now we have Gujarat and the BJP leaders do not want us to raise the issue of their rank incompetence, ignorance, and mismanagement.
Why?

After every crisis, that has struck India under Vajpayee rule, criticism of the govt. has been blocked by a single stock argument, ‘let us not criticize anyone in the moments of the crisis’. This tactic was repeatedly used when Kargil crisis took Vajpayee by surprise. Now when Gujarat Disaster has struck, the states as well as central ministers are making similar statements.

Why should we not criticize these murderers? In fact we should hang them from the nearest available pole in Bhuj.

The disaster strikes this country at 8.45 A.M. on 26 January morning and the EMERGENCY MEETING of the cabinet takes place at 5 P.M. This is how emergencies are treated by these uncaring b...

In those crucial hours all army units and almost all the govt. as well as non-govt. helicopters could have been pressed into service, Paratroopers could have been dropped to establish wireless links, bulldozers, and other earth moving equipment could have been flown or sent to the villages of Gujarat, and this way many more lives could have been saved.

Technical and trained manpower support from various nations could have been available in just 8 to ten hours. These well-equipped units would be supplementing the local efforts by the night of 26th or by next day morning, and many of those small children that perished under the rubble, would still be living and smiling.

Eight crucial hours, that could have made the big difference between life and death, were wasted.

Can we expect this PM to use his nuclear button to save this country when the response time required in such an eventuality will be in fractions of a second? No. While Mumbai and major Indian cities will be smoldering, the PM will still be in the process of calling his cabinet meeting.

This is the extent to which this doddering PM can comprehend the contours of a crisis. Calling meetings, forming committees, appointing useless theoreticians on these bodies, consulting all and sundry, ruminating over a problem for days and months, and issuing standard statements, this is what Vajpayee has done all along. None of his committees and policies have worked.

This govt. acts promptly when it comes to declaring cease-fires and allowing Kashmiri militants to have a field day. Lives of our security personnel do not count for much. The Union Home Minister calls ULFA’s murdering goons as misguided youth and almost condones their cowardly and criminal deeds perpetrated against hapless Marwaris.

And they have the gumption to suggest that to criticize them will mean politicizing the issue.

They should be thankful to the people for merely criticizing them and not catching them by their throats and strangulating them. Meek, suffering, despondent, and helpless Indians have no strength left in their frail frames to do it. Their vitality has been sucked away by these insensitive traitors who dared to present themselves as a better alternative to corrupt Congress regimes.

It is high time that we give due credit to the Congressmen. They may have been corrupt, but they were not castrated.

O God, please rid this country of these BJP leaders. Let some calamity strike them. Let them disappear. Please, please, save our beloved country from Vajpayee and his durbar.
